Meet the Ladies of

Oklahoma Women in History

An Oklahoma  Centennial Project

Now Showing

From its inception, this project has been planned as a pictorial history of our state and has been developed for its educational value as well.  The value of this project was recognized very early by the Oklahoma Centennial Commission.  In 2004 it was certified as a Centennial Project.  We wear this accolade proudly.

Mary Rogers

This project is being offered to Oklahoma in two unique forms:

1. The Ladies Up Close

Small groups of these “women” (2 to 4) are now available to travel into Oklahoma schools and to various organizations.  The artist will travel with them and tell their stories. This will continue throughout the centennial year and thereafter.

2. The Ladies On Stage

A traveling staged exhibit is now available to any city or town for a visit of two weeks or more. This will allow a larger group of the "women" to be seen by an entire community; most bookings so far have been made to coincide with a town's special celebrations.

The cost for either of these venues covers length of stay, time and transportation costs, and related extras.    Please contact the artist for information as to availability.  For a look at the "stages" and to see where the exhibit is currently, click on "The Tour".
