Meet the Ladies
The women so honored are individually sponsored and are created by the artist as porcelain replicas depicting that individual in the time frame in which she lived or lives. Sometimes it is necessary to work from old photographs. In that case period costuming, as close to the picture as possible, is used.
The present day honoree chooses how she is to be costumed. Each replica is totally handmade by the artist, capturing as closely as possible the personality and individuality of that person.

There
are so many women who could be honored by being included in this exhibit.
Some very good choices have been given us so far.
Although they are not many, we would like to share them with you to start
you thinking.
